Peter Hans received his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Wisconsin in 1980.
Peter has extensive experience in insurance defense related matters, with an emphasis on medical malpractice cases. Peter second-chaired several serious cases in that area of emphasis, and also second-chaired several accident cases with only one loss. Peter also solely handled several cases that went to trial before both juries and judges, obtaining directed verdicts or defense verdicts in all of those cases. Most of these cases were personal injury cases.
Peter also has extensive experience as in-house counsel for three different insurance companies.
Peter has also testified as an expert witness in certain insurance coverage matters in trial courts in Missouri and Kansas. In addition, Peter has judged high school mock trial competitions and coached a high school mock trial team.
Peter is licensed to practice law in the State of Wisconsin. Peter is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, as well as the American Bar Association.
