Steven S. Weinshel is a licensed neurosurgeon and attorney. Dr. Weinshel earned a Bachelor of Science from University of WisconsinMilwaukee with honors and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. He then attended medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin where he earned his Doctor of Medicine and was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. After 20+ years of serving in the practice of medicine as a neurosurgeon, Dr. Weinshel decided to attend law school. Dr. Weinshel graduated from Marquette University Law School, Dean’s List, where he earned his Juris Doctor degree.
Prior to joining Fudge Broadwater, P.A. fulltime, Dr. Weinshel served in the capacity of a neurological surgery reviewer for Wisconsin Medicare and Medical Assistance; a neurosurgical trauma specialist at a level II trauma center in Neenah, Wisconsin; a social security physician disability evaluator for the Florida Department of Health; a special prosecutor for Brown County District Attorney’s Office in Green Bay, Wisconsin; a medical director of neuropathy clinic located in Princeton, New Jersey; a medical director as well as co-owner of a neuropathy clinic located in Sarasota, Florida; and has served as the Chairman, Corporate Treasurer, and Vice President of a leading not-for-profit health care system throughout the state of Florida. Additionally, as a past Chief of the Division of Neurological Surgery at David Grant U.S. Airforce Base Medical Center in Travis AFB, California, we are proud to have Dr. Weinshel on our team!
Dr. Weinshel is American Board Certified in Neurological Surgery and is licensed to practice medicine in Wisconsin, Florida, Michigan, and New Jersey. He is also licensed to practice law in both Wisconsin and Florida.
